On Friday July 15 more than 200 guests enjoyed a delicious meal at the Whitminster Inn while toasting each other's business success stories.

Jatech were nominated in the 'Best Place to Work' category and ater a close contest were awarded the 'Runner Up' position, narrowly missing out on top spot, which went to The Meningitis Trust.

"The Stroud Life Awards are the most prestigious event in the local business calendar and Jatech are very proud to have been awarded the runner up position" said Nick Rowntree, Jatech's commercial director.

"At Jatech we encourage our staff to join in with a wide range of social events and we aim to make our working environment friendly and motivational."

The company regularly take on students from UWE and local schools who are interested in business software development, to further their knowledge and improve their software skills.

The event was a great success and the team enjoyed socialising with other leading local companies including a number of key customers.
